Sidewall Conveyor Belt Description
Sidewall conveyor belt, also called corrugated sidewall belt, combines a base belt, corrugated sidewalls and transverse cleats. This structure creates a pocketed conveying surface that can carry bulk material on steep inclines and even near-vertical sections.
The correct specification depends on material bulk density, lump size, capacity, conveyor angle, lift height, pulley diameter and available space. Sidewall height and cleat height should be selected together so the belt carries material without excessive spillage or overload.
Because sidewall belts are engineered products, the inquiry should include drawings or layout data whenever possible. Buyers should confirm belt width, sidewall height, cleat type, cleat pitch, base belt rating and splice requirements.
