Oil Resistant Conveyor Belt Description
Oil resistant conveyor belt is used when ordinary rubber would be attacked by oil or grease in the conveyed material. Common examples include oily recycling material, fertilizer, biomass products, certain chemical materials, wood processing residue and industrial by-products.
Oil exposure is not the same in every project. Vegetable oil, mineral oil, grease and solvent-contaminated material can affect rubber differently. The page should encourage buyers to provide the material name, oil source, approximate oil content and temperature before quotation.
A well-selected oil resistant belt protects the cover while still meeting the required belt strength, flexibility and abrasion performance. For severe chemical exposure, a dedicated chemical-resistant belt may be more appropriate.
